Meet the Ranchers
We started this ranch October of 2023, and every day since we have been working hard to create a life that is self sufficient, sustainable, and fulfilling. Here at Squad Up Ranch we want you to to be able to trust that our products come from quality, non-toxic ingredients, many of which are grown, raised, or harvested right here on our ranch. We are also passionate about educating other homesteaders on the simple life and the ways of old. No gatekeeping here! We have learned a lot and we would love to learn from y'all too! Follow along and share in our homesteading journey.
OUR STORY
From Suburbia to Squad Up
Many people wonder where our ranch got its start, and others wonder where it got its name. We were living in "perfect" neighborhoods with an HOAs, biking trails, great schools, the whole nine. Over time, the things we thought mattered most became all but insignificant. We realized we were working crazy hours to afford to live in "middle class" homes and to buy food that was basically poison. We decided to take life by the reins and we set out to find land where we could plant our own fruits and veggies and raise our own meat. We bought a tiny home shells and finished them out ourselves. The land had no water, septic, or power so we had to set those things up too. We have always been a close family so the idea of a family compound was very appealing. We decided it was time to get our squad, and SQUAD UP. It was time to get ready for whatever was next. Good, bad, or ugly we wanted to be prepared and just like that, Squad Up Ranch was born.
